They hand you a widget menu.
We hand you the whole web.

Frame any region of any webpage and it becomes a live widget — real-time content, not a screenshot — that drops into your notes and docs with one iframe tag.

No card needed on the free plan — your first widget takes about a minute

One sells a fixed menu; one hands you the whole web

Catalogs are picked for you by someone else. Widget.diy's catalog is every page you open.

Questions, answered

Is the widget a screenshot?+

No. The widget is a live iframe of the source page, cropped to your region. When the source changes, your widget changes — on its own refresh schedule.

Where can I embed it?+

Anywhere an iframe fits: Notion, Lark, Obsidian, Google Sites, your own HTML. You get both a short link and a ready-made iframe tag.

How is this different from widget catalog sites?+

Catalog sites ship a fixed set of prebuilt widgets (clocks, calendars, weather…) maintained by their team. Widget.diy has no catalog: the entire web is your library, so the supply of widgets is endless.

What if a site refuses to be framed?+

A few sites send X-Frame-Options or a strict CSP, which blocks every iframe embed, ours included. The editor warns you up front and suggests picking another page with the same data.

What's the difference between Free and Pro?+

Free includes 5 widgets, plenty for everyday use; Pro makes the widget count unlimited. Every feature works on every plan. Widgets you already created keep working exactly as they are — upgrading only adds headroom.

Your first widget is a minute away

No credit card on the free plan. Keep it private or share it to the plaza.

That's the whole product: one iframe tag. Copy it, paste it anywhere.

The web is vast, your page is small — cut a piece that fits.
